Micromoths are an understudied group which are hard to identify. One student will be  using genetic barcoding (COI) to identify cryptic species from MacDonald Woods. Another student will be developing a set of genetic baits which can be used for more detailed genomic study of Mompha for one group of micromoths commonly seen on Oenothera sp.
