I am a senior at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. My interests are in botany, ecology, environmental history, socio-economics, and restoration. For the past four years at Evergreen I have been helping to create a field guide to the vascular plants of our local, endangered prairie ecosystem and through this project, I have become interested in scientific communication and botanical illustration. After graduating, I plan to stay in the Pacific Northwest and continue my involvement in local restoration efforts.
