Phylogenetic Investigation of Fusarium spp. isolated from Vanilla roots (2015)
Genetics, Soil & Fungal Biology
At the current stage of the project, Fusarium samples extracted and cultured from Vanilla planifolia root cuttings are being amplified at the RPB2 gene marker and sequenced to answer questions of phylogeny that previous ITS sequencing could not accomplish: What are the shared relationships of the Fusarium cultures found in Vanilla planifolia roots? Furthermore, what are the average interactive profiles of those identified species in context of pathogenic risk?
