Conservation enthusiast. My main concern is the conservation of endangered plant species. My research focus on the influence of genetics on local extinction of small plant populations, and how genetic rescue and habitat restoration could help to improve their conservation status. My background includes endemism, phylogenetics, conservation assessment and planning, biodiversity monitoring, and environmental impact assessment. I am a PhD student in the PBC program and a Natural Resources Engineer from Chile.
